Scooters, road bikes, dirt bikes and quads share engine families, so most engine parts follow the engine code. Chassis and bodywork are model-specific, which is where orders go wrong.
Six steps, from code to delivery
How an engine code becomes an order.
Send the part or the code
An engine code from the crankcase, a 1688 link or a photograph, with quantity and destination. Photograph the code before you order; it does not change when a bike is rebadged.
We confirm fitment
Fitment is confirmed in writing against your engine code and, where listings conflict, measured dimensions. If two sellers give different dimensions for the same “GY6 150” part, one of them is selling something else.
We check the seller
Years active, transaction volume and repeat-purchase rate. Workshops do not reorder a part that did not fit, so repeat purchase is unusually informative here.
Screen for restrictions
Batteries, oil-filled shocks, fuel-system parts that have held petrol, aerosols and complete engines have route restrictions the listing will not mention. We screen for them before a route is booked.
Approve, then we buy
Goods, domestic freight, our fee and international freight are itemised. Sending a request authorises nothing, and we pay the seller only after you approve.
Inspect and ship
Photographs at the warehouse before export. Restricted and unrestricted goods can go in separate consignments, so one item does not slow the whole order.
What to send
A parts request that can be answered the first time.
The engine code settles most of the fitment question. These details settle the rest.
- The engine code stamped on the crankcase, photographed. It is more reliable than the model name.
- The bike, scooter or quad it is for, and its year if you know it.
- For anything on the chassis, a photograph beside a ruler or the measured dimensions: axles, hubs, brakes and bodywork.
- The quantity now and the quantity you expect to reorder.
- Your destination country, because freight and duty depend on it.
- Whether the order includes a battery, shocks or anything that has held fuel, so restricted items can be planned for.
